meet your queer, trauma-informed yoga teacher for the week

Lyss has studied asana, pranayama, psychology, astrology, holistic nutrition, reiki, and more over the last decade while simultaneously stepping into intersex visibility and advocacy. They will be leading morning and evening yoga classes, and additional ritual, journaling, and astrology workshops— all centering QUEERNESS!

Early rise for silent meditation, breath, and yoga practice with Lyss followed by delicious breakfast on boat.
We’ll then move into a daily workshop or group adventure.
Lunch!
Afternoon adventure, island-hopping, connection, and playtime.
Dinner!
Wind-down evening yoga practice.

A typical retreat day:
The retreat will be located on a private charter boat in the Maldives where we will spend 8 days and 7 nights on our own island-hopping, private charter boat doing yoga, eating GOOD, and exploring the beautiful islands.
Your stay includes a shared room, 3 meals a day, 2 yoga classes a day, additional workshops, snorkeling, sightseeing and time to relax between sessions.
You are responsible for your flight.

Common Questions:
What type of practices can we expect?
Mornings will include breath work, meditation, and a hatha based flow. Evening practices will include a blend of yin, restorative, and relaxing breath work.
Do I need to be an advanced yogi?
NO! This will be accessible for all levels and abilities!
Can you accomodate my dietary restrictions?
Yes! Make sure you tell us ahead of time.
Is the Maldives safe for my queer ass?
Yes! We are going to be doing our own thing on our own boat. of course, like all travel, we’ll exercise caution in public spaces but they value tourism.
